The Indian Business Council (IBC)participated in the Peer-to-Peer Learning Sessionheld on 4th March 2025 at the Economic Development Board (EDB) Mauritiusas part of the SheTrades Commonwealth+ Programme, funded by the UK Governmentand facilitated by the International Trade Centre (ITC).
This collaborative knowledge-sharing event brought together representatives from the SheTrades Mauritius Hub and SheTrades India Hub, along with key stakeholders, to discuss opportunities, challenges, and strategies to strengthen women-led businesses across both countries.

Four distinguished IBC memberstook the stage to share their expertise and experiences:

Their interventions covered entrepreneurial culture, market expansion and networking considerationsfor strengthening women-led businesses.
Networking & Strategic Roadmap
The session concluded with a networking session with key partners, including IBC, the Association Mauricienne des Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises (AMFCE) and members of SheTrades Mauritius, followed by closing remarks.

This peer-to-peer exchange reinforced the commitment of IBC and its partners toempower entrepreneurs, foster trade opportunities and create sustainable business networks between Mauritius, India and Africa.
